Mazha village, located in the South Valley of tuyugou Grand Canyon, is the oldest Uygur village in Turpan. The village is hidden in poplar and mulberry trees. A narrow river passes through the village from north to south. On both sides of the river, scattered Uygur houses are built. There are dozens of Uyghur families living in the village. The Grand Mosque and disordered rooms stand in the valley, completely preserving the ancient Uyghur tradition and folk customs.
