In Datong, I don't know if this is the only lotus pond with a scale. When I saw it, I was truly amazed by it. Countless lotus flowers tightly intertwined, filling the entire pond without leaving any gaps. It seems like they possess endless magic, sucking up the water in the pond until it almost dries up.
The scenic spot of Shenxi Village is still under construction, but this does not stop the crowds of lotus enthusiasts from flocking in. Under the scorching sun that could dry people, I hurried over. Even though the heat is so intense, all I want to do is to be the first to explore the best shooting position.
You should know that the flowering time of lotus flowers is in the early morning. Having become familiar with the entire lotus pond, I didn't leave anymore. Instead, I endured this long and stuffy night on a piece of open land not far from the pond, sweating profusely.
The next day, just as the sky was slightly brightening, I couldn't wait to get up and take advantage of the brief coolness of the morning to quickly rush to the lotus pond. At this moment, the air still carries the residual warmth of last night, but the coolness is refreshing.
My purpose for this shoot is to obtain a delayed video of lotus flowers blooming. Therefore, I was fully focused on observing the lotus flowers around the pond, almost seeing all the lotus flowers by the pond. Hard work pays off, and finally I found one. It is no longer a flower bud waiting to bloom. From its slightly stretched posture, I firmly believe that it will slowly bloom in the near future.
At this moment, the rosy glow quietly appeared from my side and landed on the lotus flower I had chosen. Amidst the shadows interwoven with numerous lotus leaves, this side light shines like a stroke of genius, precisely illuminating the lotus flowers. In an instant, this unique light and shadow effect appeared, as if a stunning painting was unfolding before my eyes.
This lotus pond, against the backdrop of the rosy glow, appears even more dreamlike. Every lotus flower is like a carefully crafted work of nature, swaying gently in the breeze. I am immersed in this beautiful scenery, and the camera in my hand keeps recording these wonderful moments, wanting to freeze this beauty forever.
I don't know how long it took, but the sun gradually rose and the sunlight became stronger. But I am already satisfied because I captured the most beautiful moment of the lotus with my camera
