Snow mountains on the Pamirs
We are looking forward to visiting China's tallest country through Karakoram Highway (also known as China Pakistan friendship highway) to hongqilap. Unfortunately, we can only stop at the outpost three kilometers in front of the country. Although we have regrets, we are shocked by the company of Karakoram along the way, which is also a worthwhile trip! Karakoram mountain is one of the most awe inspiring mountain landscapes on the earth. It stretches for thousands of kilometers, northwest southeast, with an average altitude of more than 6000 meters. As a result, it has become the focus of geologists, mountaineers and tourists all over the world.
Summer in the Tahoma wetland
The taherman wetland is the treasure of Tashkurgan and a bright pearl under the mostag ice peak. She is located at the foot of the south slope of the tomb's tiger snow peak, only 30 kilometers away from the town of Tashkurgan. It is 3050 meters above sea level and covers an area of 8000 mu. Because it is surrounded by mountains, the terrain is relatively low and looks like a basin. This wetland is a rare grassland on the Pamirs Plateau, and also a high-quality pasture for the herdsmen in Tahoma.

Red mountain at the mouth of the Oytag River Valley
Soon after passing through the town of uppar, the road enters the Gezi gorge. Hongshan is at the mouth of Gaizi canyon. Hongshan mountain is the red mountain of oitak, which is located at the intersection of oitak River and Gaizi river. The fire red mountains are distributed on both sides of Gaizi River and oytak River Valley. The mountain, which is mainly composed of red rocks, is several kilometers long. Hongyan mountain has clear edges and corners, and there is no grass. In the sunshine, the red is dazzling, deeper than the Turpan Flame Mountain, so it is also known as the South Xinjiang Flame Mountain.
